Cristiano Ronaldo can become the first player to achieve scoring records in four different tournaments in his career.
Cristiano Ronaldo can do what no other player in the history of football has done at the end of this season. According to Twitter account Twitugal, Ronaldo could become the first player in football history to win the Golden Boot in four different top leagues.
Ronaldo is currently in the middle of his second season with Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, after joining them as a free agent last January. Ronaldo has scored 26 goals in the league this season, including a hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Al Taee last weekend. Ronaldo is currently leading the race for the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot, four goals ahead of Al Hilal’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The Serbian player suffered a muscle injury in the most recent match and that is an opportunity for Ronaldo to go even further as the season enters its final stage.
Previously when he was fighting in Europe, Ronaldo won top scorer in the Premier League with Manchester United, in La Liga with Real Madrid and Serie A with Juventus.
The Guardian in 2016 that Brazilian icon Romario won the Golden Boot in the top leagues of Spain, the Netherlands and Brazil, and he also did it in the Campeonato Carioca – the state championship in Brazil. However, this record will not include tournaments at the State level.
