The landscape of the garden must be planned in such a way that it looks beautiful now while keeping the future in mind. You will find that it is best to plant your precious collection of plants in such a way that there is enough room when in the future you need a lawnmower, or stubble cutter, to come in for construction projects for your porch or patio.
If this planning is not done now, in the future you may have to dispose of your precious plants to have space to allow the movement of such equipment.
Have a point of contact
The focal point of your garden must be such that it attracts people and captures their attention as you wander around your garden. It should be different from others but not out of place. You can have an antique garden bench as a focal point but don’t use an item that is not related to the garden. A body of water or an oak can be a good focal point that will give the garden landscape a new dimension.
