This spectacular 1974 Bizzarrani P538 is one of eight in the world, and it’s about to be auctioned at Actomobile’s Premier car sale on April 14.Classic DriverMarch 30, 2022
If your car collection has the bees and the gems, we highly recommend checking out Actomobile’s Premier Cars on April 14. There are three heavy-duty cars: a 1953 Alfa Romeo 1900C Sprпt Supergioiello, a wonderful 1938 BMW 328 Roadster, and a favorite of the lot, this kпee-buckling 1 974 Bizzarпni P538. The model car was built from a series of eight under the direction of legendary designer Giotto Bizzarrпi, this Bizzarrпni is the only arrow-bodied version of that car, at the request of the original owner first so it can be driven along the village on the arrow streets of Viareggio.
Not that it’s obscenely pretty – just look at the rear – but it’s also very powerful, packing a whopping 480bhp on its svelte 800kg body. Thanks to its slimmer body, this is actually the lightest P538 ever made, and as such it has a superior power-to-weight ratio compared to the Veyro! Originally equipped with the Lamborghini V12 from the 400 GT, it had a heart set and was powered by a much lighter, more reliable Chevrolet V8. So if you’ve got sharp eyes and a beating heart, we know you’ve looked I’ll be waiting for Actomobile’s Premium Cars event on April 14.
