A harmonious meeting between civilization and the wild power of nature

Do you believe that moving to the big city is an easy way to escape the “wilderness”? You may want to think twice! Humans tend to believe that they can outsmart nature by clearing mud and building concrete and metal structures with airtight windows to ward off “wild beasts.” However, nature has a unique way of showing us that we are not as smart as we think.

In modern times, wilderness has become an opposing force to civilization. Living in the forest and building houses with leaves and stones would be considered uncivilized. But for every brick we place to hinder nature and assert our dominance over this particular “alien” world, nature will retaliate.

Given the damage we have done to the planet over the past thousand years, nature may well win. So let’s celebrate those wonderful times when nature showed us exactly how it felt about our “civilization.” Think your car will help you escape nature? Think.
