Kylie Jenner channeled old Hollywood glamour for her red carpet look at the star-studded 2024 Met Gala on Monday evening.
The reality TV personality, 26, showed off her hourglass figure as she slipped into a tight-fitting, cream-colored Oscar de la Renta gown with a strapless, bullet bra-inspired bodice and fluffy train.
To go with the strapless, custom-made corset dress, she wore matching, cream-colored slingback pumps.
The Kardashians star, who was previously rumored to be pregnant with her actor boyfriend’s baby, also pinned a pale pink rose in her tight updo for this year’s theme, The Garden of Time, and aptly titled event Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
Her beau Timothee Chalamet was not in attendance on the night.
She made her grand arrival at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City alongside her sisters Kendall Jenner, who was scantily-clad in a semi-sheer Givenchy look, and Kim Kardashian, who put her tiny waist on display in a tightly-cinched corset top.
For fashion’s biggest night this year, she went for a soft and dreamy makeup look with a subtle cut-crease eyeshadow look.
She looked radiant as she topped it all off with bright pink blush and a peachy nude lip.
Her dark brunette hair was pulled back into a tight updo and her bouncy ringlets were pinned with fresh flowers.
For jewelry, she opted out of a necklace to let the unique bust and neckline of her dress be the center of attention.
She wore just a pair of dainty stud earrings and several massive diamond rings.
Because of the voluminous train on the back of her custom gown, she entered the venue with a team assisting her.
Later, the beauty mogul posed in front of a forest-inspired backdrop to showcase her look with the full half-moon train on display.
Her flattering, bridal white look highlighted her hourglass figure and accentuated her curves.
The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition falls on the first Monday in May every year and is held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year the event is titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.
Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth are this year’s co-chairs. Also on the committee is Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
The honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.
‘This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,’ Vogue shared.
The showcase will feature approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection – with many of the pieces too fragile to ever be worn again.
The pieces will all be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI, and more while playing up themes of land, sea, and sky.
‘It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,’ said Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, of the upcoming exhibition.
‘One thing I hope this show will activate is that sensorial appreciation of fashion.’
Guests expected to attend include the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Hailey Bieber, Sarah Jessica Parker and Timothee Chalamet.
Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham are hosting while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is expected to interview stars on the red carpet.
Last year’s gala honored late designer Karl Lagerfeld.
