Kylie Jenner is giving Hollywood icon vibes in her latest social media snaps.
The 26-year-old shared two photographs of herself on Friday wearing a bright-blonde wig with ringlet curls, reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic look.
Kylie sported brown lipliner with a pink lip, winged, black eyeliner, and light blush.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder wore a simple white tank top in the selfies and went jewelry-free.
She cheekily captioned the Instagram post, ‘Did someone say they missed king kylie.’
Fans went wild in the comments section, leaving their stamp of approval for Kylie’s new look.
‘King kylie era was too iconic,’ one user wrote, while another chimed in, ‘DONT PLAY WITH ME KYLIEEEEEEE.’
The mother-of-two also posted a picture to her Instagram Stories, giving followers a look back at her King Kylie era.
A younger, blonde Kylie posed with a cigarette in her mouth and wore heavy black eye makeup, a lace black bra, thigh-high sheer tights and a brown leather jacket.
Other throwback photos included close-up shots of the influencer in her leather jacket and a snap of the reality star in a red lace mesh bra and blue jeans.
Rounding out the looks was Kylie donning a black t-shirt with holes that read ‘I’m the Kylie you’re the Kendall.’
The Kardashians star’s switch-up comes a day after the makeup mogul dropped the newest pieces of clothing from her Khy line.
Kylie flaunted her curves in a photoshoot for the brand’s chic outfits.
The social media star wore a $66 light gray, suede top with twisted straps wrapped around her left shoulder and matching skin-tight pants that go for $76.
Kylie pulled her hair back into a low bun and kept her makeup light with a coral blush and a nude lip.
She also ditched the jewelry and slipped into white flip-flops to round out her high-end look.
Kylie debuted the two-piece set in a fuchsia pink and a fiery red, as well.
‘Just dropped: new colorrrsss for the summa in our innovative sueded stretch fabric that perfectly molds to your body in all the right places AND feels like butter,’ she captioned her Thursday Instagram post. ‘Khy.com @khy.’
These days, Kylie isn’t just leaning into her ‘clean-girl esthetic’ for photoshoots. In fact, the fashion designer took a moment in March to acknowledge the changes she has made over the past year.
Kylie told the New York Times that she was ‘stripping down a little bit,’ noting, ‘I don’t have this thick mane down to my butt, I don’t have lash extensions, I don’t have these long claws.’
Reflecting on the scrutiny she’s endured regarding her appearance, she continued, ‘When you share so much, you open yourself up to more comments and more people’s opinions of your life.’
‘It’s just years and years of not feeling like my face or looks are accepted,’ Kylie added. ‘There’s nothing anyone could ever say now that would hurt me.’
However, the internet has speculated that the toned-down look is a result of her relationship with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.
‘I don’t know how I feel about that,’ Kylie, who has been tied to the Wonka star since April 2023, told the outlet. ‘I just don’t want to talk about personal things.’
Instead she attributed her evolving style to a new outlook after welcoming her son Aire, 2, in 2022.
‘It takes me a while after I have a baby to feel like myself again,’ she explained. ‘Then you get your body back, and you’re like, “Wait, the trends have changed.”‘
And this wasn’t the first time Kylie has opened up about her struggles after giving birth.
‘I just want to say my postpartum has not been easy,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories in March 2022. ‘This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter.’
‘It’s OK not to be OK,’ the California native continued. ‘Once I realized that … I was putting some pressure on myself and I just keep reminding myself, “I made a whole human, a beautiful healthy boy” and we have to stop putting pressure to be back, not even physically, just mentally after birth.’
