Kim Kardashian has sparked concern from fans over her bizarre “shrivelled” hands.

The 43-year-old Skims founder was in Paris over the weekend to attend the Balenciaga show in the French capital, and rocked a black lace gown by the Spanish fashion house while at the star-studded event. Kim looked stunning in the dress as she arrived at the high-fashion brand’s womenswear presentation, which took place during Paris Fashion Week, one of the most highly coveted events in the industry.

However, it wasn’t her couture gown that grabbed attention, but Kim’s hands were the focus of her fans, who shared their concern over her surprisingly old looking hands and fingers, despite only being in her early 40s. In snaps shared on social media, the mother-of-four can be seen waving to the crowds gathered outside the event in Paris, but eagle-eyed fans zoomed in on her hands to discover they were red, swollen and wrinkled.

“Have her hands been soaking in water?! Why are her fingertips so wrinkled?” one asked in the thread on Reddit. “She’s shriveling up!” another added. “How the f**k do her hands look like that of a 60-year-old?” a third chimed in. While one fan cruelly claimed her hands looked “haunting”, and added: “The hands are creepy as hell. If she didn’t have those nails, it would be much less haunting.”

One Kim fan speculated that her red and swollen hands may be due to dehydration from her long-haul flight form Los Angeles to Paris, and suggested the billionaire businesswoman may have reduced her water intake ahead of the high fashion event to look slimmer. “Wrinkled fingertips could also be from dehydration. She probably doesn’t eat or drink all day before an appearance, and it makes her fingers wrinkle,” they claimed.

Another suggested Kim’s lifelong battle with psoriasis may be the reason for her red and swollen hands, and it causes the skin to become dry, red and painful. While another noted that she had been snowboarding recently, so her skin may have become dry and swollen in the high altitude on the slopes.

Kim has rarely commented on her changing appearance over the years, but has vehemently denied ever having butt implants, or any type of surgery on her face and body. In an interview with Allure in 2022, she confessed to having Botox and her face, but denied ever having fillers, unlike her sister Kylie Jenner. “A little bit of Botox,” she said, pointing to her forehead. “No filler. Never filled either one, ever. I’ve never filled my cheeks. I’ve never filled my lips.”
