Cristiano Ronaldo was named Saudi Pro League Player of the Month for March after his latest hat-trick against Al Tai.
The 39-year-old Portuguese legend scored 4 goals in 3 matches in March, including a hat-trick to help Al Nassr win 5-1 against Al-Tai last weekend. For his extraordinary performance, Ronaldo was named Saudi Pro League Player of the Month.
Even though he is in his forties, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star is still maintaining top form in the current season. Ronaldo is leading the race for the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot, scoring 26 goals in 23 matches. Overall, he scored 33 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions and contributed 11 assists.
By putting the ball into Al Tai’s net three times, this was Ronaldo’s 34th hat-trick in his career since he celebrated his 30th birthday, 28 times more than what his arch-rival scored. Lionel Messi has achieved since turning an important age milestone.
This season alone, Ronaldo has been honored as the best player in the Saudi Pro League four times. Previously, the Portuguese captain won in August, September and December.
Ronaldo will definitely want to maintain his brilliant form in Al Nassr’s upcoming away trip to Abha at 2:00 a.m. on April 3, a match within the framework of round 27 of the Saudi Pro League.
Six days later, Al Nassr will enter an important match against rival Al Hilal in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup.
