After the release of her new album The Tortured Poets Department last Friday, it has been speculated that the song titled thanK you aIMee, is about her feud with the reality TV star, as the capitalised letters spell out KIM.

‘The song is her final word,’ a source told Us Weekly on Thursday, adding: ‘Taylor has moved on and is not looking back.’

However as Taylor, 34, took a swipe at Kim, 43, through her lyrics, the latter appears to be ‘dissing’ the singer in her own way as she recruits her friends as part of her SKIMS campaign.

Sabrina Carpenter, who is currently accompanying Taylor as her support act on her Eras tour, is the latest star to model the Kardashian’s famous underwear brand.

Showing off her incredible physique in the sexy campaign earlier this month, Swifties rounded on Sabrina as she showed her support for Taylor’s rival.

Fans wondered whether Taylor approves of the collab as they asked: ‘how she gonna open for Taylor Swift then work for Kim Kardashian.’

However the Nonsense hitmaker isn’t the only pal of Taylor’s that Kim has recruited, after Lana Del Rey also modelled for the brand.

The songbird, 38, served as the face of the brand’s new Valentines Day collection earlier this year as she wowed in series of sexy looks.

Lana donned a satin blue and lace bodysuit as she posed seductively inside a giant heart with her hands clothed in gloves and a duo of matching bows in her hair.

Kim is a huge fan of Lana’s song Young and Beautiful, and the track was performed by a brass brand when her now ex-husband Kanye popped the question in 2013.

Meanwhile Kim also enlisted Texas native star Brittany Mahomes in her Christmas campaign after the WAG, who is married to NFL quarterback husband Patrick Mahomes, became friends with Taylor.

Swifties were again shocked by Brittany’s involvement with SKIMS considering the Lavender Haze singer’s long running feud with Kim.

And it doesn’t stop there as earlier this week Kim seemed to subtly shade Taylor by sharing a selfie with the pop star’s ex-pal Karlie Kloss.

While she hasn’t outrightly spoken out about the diss tracks on the latest album, Kim opted to stir the pot by sharing a throwback with the model, 31, to wish their mutual friend Derek Blasberg a happy birthday.

In the snap, Karlie, who was nearly inseparable from Swift during their six-years until they began to drift apart in 2019, can be seen smiling alongside Derek, Kim and her younger sister, Khloé Kardashian.

‘This is Kim’s attempt to fuel the fire that the song is referring to Karlie instead of her,’ one X user speculated.

Another wrote: ‘Kim Kardashian sharing a two-year-old photo of her and Karlie Kloss to her story four days after Taylor Swift dropped a song about her is SOOOOO rich…we are SOOOOOO back.’

Taylor and Karlie became fast friends back in 2013 with their friendship going from strength-to-strength courtesy of appearances in music videos, attending gigs together, cosy nights at home and even a runway encounter.

In 2014, the pair were seen sharing an apparent steamy kiss as they watched The 1975 perform  – but Taylor quickly laughed off rumours of a romance between the pair.

However, things took a turn in 2017 with the pair no longer photographed together and Taylor not showing up to Karlie’s 2019 wedding to Joshua Kushner amid a reported feud between the pair over the model’s close bond with the singer’s nemesis Scooter Braun.

As speculation grew over their fallout, Taylor stayed silent on the state of her friendship with Karlie, so the model was left to tackle the speculation on her own.

Following the song’s release, Kim lost more than 100,000 Instagram followers — a huge dent to her social media platform.

As well as thanK you aIMee, fans also believe Cassandra is about the feud as fans called out the way in which Taylor appears to be going after Kim.

Many believe that the title character, Cassandra, is Taylor, while references to ‘the call’ are meant to allude to a phone call between the singer and Kanye, which Kim secretly recorded and posted online.

Additionally, the references to ‘snakes’ in the song are being compared to the use of snake emojis throughout the feud between the trio.

After Kim appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, some Swift fans took to the internet to complain that the host hadn’t asked her about the diss track or the years-old friction.

‘Why not ask her about the Taylor Swift song that North will be singing!’ wrote one person on Instagram.

Another wrote: ‘Jimmy, I’m 100 percent sure you weren’t allowed to speak or ask questions about Taylor or TTPD but you could have least ‘slipped up’ a couple of times and called her aIMee.’

In addition to the suggestive title, fans believe the new song is aimed at Kim given its chorus: ‘All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F*** you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’/ But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.’

In another part of the tune, Taylor sings about removing ‘defining clues’ about the person she’s singing about, and she added, ‘I changed your name,’ which drew more listeners to the title.

The feud between Taylor and Kim traces back to the 2016 release of Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo.

On the song Famous, Kim’s ex-husband raps: ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**** famous.’

The line — which alludes to when the 46-year-old rapper interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards — was supposedly passed on to the songstress for approval, but she denies ever giving it the OK.
